What SX-Tool Training Covers

SX-Tool Training is a modular program taught by working technicians, combining theory with live vehicle and bench practice. Modules span product selection and diagnosis through programming, CCF coding, key work, OEM feature activation, retrofit projects, wiring-diagram troubleshooting and used-module programming — 93 documented case studies in total.

Featured Modules

The advanced modules are the ones workshops ask for most. Each combines concept definitions, quick-reference tables and real case studies — for example 15 selected OEM feature-activation cases and 12 retrofit projects — so you leave with procedures you can bill for immediately, not just theory.

• OEM Feature Activation (1–2 days) — enabling factory-equipped but software-disabled functions via CCF parameters: CarPlay, Wi-Fi hotspot, ACC, LKA, ambient lighting, Dynamic Mode and region conversion
• Retrofit & Upgrade (2 days) — adding hardware and integrating it via CCF configuration: Pivi Pro screen upgrades, 360° cameras, matrix headlights, ACC retrofits, air suspension
• Wiring Diagrams & Troubleshooting (2 days) — TOPIx workshop manuals and ERL wiring diagrams, JLR wire colour codes, CAN topology, and the five-step fault-analysis process
• Used Module Programming (3–5 days) — high-risk virginisation, VIN writing and sync for PCM, BCM, KVM, IPC, IMC, TCM and more; certified training required before independent execution

Online Training Pricing

Online modules run in two-hour live sessions with an engineer, priced per participant as captured from the current program below. Bundle discounts apply — 10% off two modules, 15% off three modules, and 20% off the full package when booked together.

Offline Training Pricing

On-site training runs at our China HQ — advance booking required, client covers travel and accommodation — and across GCC countries (Saudi Arabia, UAE, Kuwait, Qatar, Bahrain, Oman) with 30 days' advance booking for visa and flight arrangements. Team packages are available for five to eight people.

Assessment and Certification

Certification is earned, not attended: theory exam (80+ points), timed vehicle diagnosis, bench programming without power interruption, CCF coding with verification, key programming including All Keys Lost, and fault analysis on preset faults. Levels run Certified Technician, Advanced Specialist (used modules, 85+ points) and Master Trainer, each valid two years; recertification costs 50% of the original price.

Legal Compliance and Risk Control

Every module teaches the compliance checklist first: proof of vehicle ownership, operator identity records, legal module sourcing, written client authorisation, and odometer-legality confirmation. Programming stolen vehicles, odometer tampering, configuration falsification and immobiliser bypass are prohibited outright — and our terms of use disclaimer applies to all practical sessions.

How to Book

Booking runs ten steps: submit requirements, complete the assessment questionnaire, a free 30-minute video conference, a customised plan with formal quotation, agreement plus 50% deposit, scheduling, execution, assessment and certification, final payment, and follow-up. Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need SX-Tool software before training? Not for the basic modules — consultation and fundamentals come first. For hands-on coding and programming modules, a licensed installation helps; demo licenses are available via the free demo program.

Is used-module programming safe to learn? It is the highest-risk module we teach — incorrect operation can permanently lock a module. That is why it runs 3–5 days with supervised bench practice and requires certification before independent execution.

Do you train teams on-site? Yes — team packages for 5–8 people run three days at $8,000, and GCC on-site training is $1,500 per day plus instructor travel. Dealer partners should see the dealer program.

What equipment does bench training use? Regulated programming power supplies (13.5 V, 30 A+), multimeters, oscilloscopes, OBD breakout boxes, chip programmers for KVM/BCM work, and IMC/Pivi bench platforms — the same kit described in our used-module guide.
