How SX-Tool Pricing Works

SX-Tool Pricing is built around licenses, not surprises: demo licenses are locked to one VIN for 72 hours, official licenses are annual with unlimited VIN on one PC, and remote services use fixed remote-session pricing confirmed before the session. Renewals, updates and support terms are stated with each plan below.

Demo Licenses

Demo licenses let you test the full function set on one VIN for 72 hours — ideal for verifying connectivity and workflow on a real job before committing to an annual plan. All demos include optional extra-paid in-car support from our technicians.

Official Annual Licenses

The official licenses are the professional tier: unlimited VIN on one PC, 12 months of online updates, and technician support. Choose by job type — coding-focused workshops start with JET Pro; module-replacement work needs JET Master. Both include our support channel.

Workshop Hardware Kits

Turnkey packages pair a ready-to-use Windows laptop or tablet with the complete software stack pre-installed — the fastest route from zero to a working JLR bay. Every kit ships tested; remote onboarding is available if you want a technician to verify the setup live.

CCF Tools

The CCF editors handle Car Configuration File read, compare and edit — the master settings file stored in the BCM and other modules. Editing a vehicle requires a JET tool or SDD-era software for the write step; the CCF tools themselves are the editors. More background: CCF editing guide.

Remote Services

Remote in-car sessions — coding, programming, key work, used-module adaptation — use fixed remote-session pricing, confirmed before the session starts. Every session is quoted per VIN and job. Book through JLR remote repair or ticket support.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is the download key the license? No — the download key unlocks the installer only. The license key is dispatched automatically to your account or email upon valid payment. See license key for details.

What are the technical requirements? Windows 10/11 (i5/i7 recommended), 8 GB RAM minimum (16–32 GB preferred), internet for license checks and updates, and a JLR ENET or DoIP OBD-II adapter — some advanced operations need genuine DoIP hardware.

How do renewals work? Online OTA renewal with instant delivery — restart the software after payment and it is renewed. Renewal pricing is listed in the shop; keeping the subscription active avoids reinstall work.

Can I upgrade from a demo to a full license? Yes — demo users can upgrade at any time, and recent remote-session customers can ask about crediting a session toward a full license. Message us via contact.
