JET Master is the flagship of the SX-Tool JLR engineering software family: a Windows application that talks to DoIP-era Jaguar and Land Rover vehicles over a standard ENET cable and performs diagnostics, coding, CCF editing, key programming and module flashing. It is built for independent workshops that need dealer-level capability without dealer-level subscription costs.

JET Master vs JLR Pathfinder

Pathfinder is the official dealer platform: powerful, but online-dependent, subscription-priced and locked to expensive proprietary VCIs. JET Master runs primarily offline, works with an affordable ENET cable, and allows operations Pathfinder blocks — most notably used-module programming. For a handful of the newest model years and protected campaigns, TOPIx Cloud access may still be required.

Which vehicles does JET Master support? JET Master works with DoIP-based Jaguar and Land Rover vehicles, broadly MY2017–2025 — Defender L663, Range Rover L460, Velar, Discovery 5, F-PACE, E-PACE, I-PACE and more. Older CAN-era vehicles are covered by SDD Engineering Master (SX-CAN) instead.

What hardware do I need? A Windows 10/11 laptop and a quality JLR ENET cable or ENET Wi-Fi adapter. If you also want to run SDD, Pathfinder and TOPIx Cloud on the same setup, we recommend the SX-Tool JLR diagnostic interface or a genuine DoIP VCI.

Does it completely replace Pathfinder and TOPIx? For the large majority of diagnostic, coding and programming jobs, yes. For protected online operations on the newest vehicles, a TOPIx Cloud subscription may still be needed — we advise keeping both options available in a professional workshop.
